“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination" -Carl Rogers. Sometimes we all need someone to help us through this process. I’d be honoured to be part of this process with you—helping you find new possibilities in times of loss, and discovering hope in moments of despair. Whatever you define as “the good life” I feel it also includes working toward a fuller, more meaningful life, and that’s the path I hope to help you navigate. My approach is eclectic—I draw from various therapeutic methods and tailor them to meet the unique needs and experiences of each individual. My theoretical framework is grounded in Cognitive processing therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD, Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Response -Based Approach. I am a Registered Psychologist with a master’s degree in counselling psychology and I have been in the field of mental health services since 2011. My areas of clinical expertise include, but not limited to, anxiety, trauma and complex PTSD, dissociation, addiction, grief and loss, parenting, relationship difficulties, anger management, emotion regulation, addictions, self-esteem, and more. I work with youth, adults both individually and in group settings. I am licensed in Alberta where I offer both in-person and virtual sessions.
